Experience fun, no pressure golf with an amazing community! 

 

CWGA was founded by women from local private clubs in 1953. Regardless of handicaps and backgrounds, they shared a love for the game. Originally named Chemola (Chesterfield, Monacan Hill, and Laurel Clubs), the group was so popular that other clubs asked to join. In 1963, City Women's Golf Association was officially founded and paved the way for fun golf experiences all over Virginia. 

 

 

Club Representatives

 

Each affiliated member club has a CWGA representative. Your club's golf professional can provide her contact information. She will be delighted to share all the great reasons to join our fun and get you started with an application and schedule.

 

 

Eligibility Requirements

 

Established 18-hole handicap index of 31.0 max

Post 5 rounds by July 1 in current year

Active member with full golfing privileges of an affiliated club
